Now I've got responsibility and stress that never ends

But I look into his eyes and it feels like I'm staring into mine
And I feel the weight of the whole world upon my spine
There's no going back but somehow I don't really mind at all
When I carry him around I feel like I'm a giant standing tall

Before I had a kid I could travel on a whim
Now my daily plans are totally dependent upon him
Before I had a kid I saw the world through selfish eyes
Now my daily goal's to feed him and give comfort when he cries

When I look at all the people I feel more connected than before
Still I have to raise him in this world of hate and war
So I try to be more humble when I see the struggles others face
